Some of you may have heard that a fifteen year old boy named Lawerence King was murdered by another fifteen year old boy because he was gay. Brandon (the murderer) killed Lawerence after Lawerence asked him to be his valentine. Why is it still wrong to love another boy?It's hard and it hits home when I hear stuff like this especially when the victims are so young. It's like what Ellen said, "What messages are we sending our children to make a hate crime acceptable?" There is NO excuse...no one has the right to end another life!For a moment, let's take out the fact that it was a boy crushing on another boy. Go back to high school, to YOUR 15 yr old self and remember the thoughts you had. Can you? Here's are few of mine:
1) I just want to fit in
2) I hope I get a passing grade in math class
3) I wonder if I'll have enough money for those jeans.
4) Will my skin ever clear up?
Now add sexuality to the pot:
1)God he's cute
2) Why do I feel like this?
3) Will I ever be loved back?

Never in my dreams would I have even thought to ask my boy crush out on a date or even tell him how I felt about him. But a 15 yr old did and because of this wonderful act he'd dead. The only thing I see wrong with this picture is that Lawerence will never go out on his first date, or graduate from high school, or even be loved back.Today and each day that follows I ask everyone who reads this to stop using the word fag, faggot, dike or any other degrading word to put someone else down. "That's gay" to describe something stupid is wrong! I'm asking everyone to think before using someone's sexuality as a weapon because you know what, someone is listening and someone is hurting.
